Alcohol Ink Art Classes/ Workshops
Alcohol Ink Art Basics: Introduction to the calming and beautiful world of alcohol inks. These inks are highly pigmented, very bright, and create stunning effects. The class starts with me explaining the materials we will be using. Then I demonstrate how the inks work and the different techniques I use in my art. Then you get to begin experimenting with all the different inks! You will get to paint 2-4 tiles that you can then turn into coasters and a 9×12 piece of Yupo paper. (This can be exchanged for 2 4×6 pieces of Yupo paper.) All supplies are provided. Class is around 2 hours long. Kids are welcome.
In this class you will learn:
- How to control the inks.
- Different ways to move the ink.
- How to use metallics
- The essential supplies needed
- How to create dots
- 3 different techniques
- How to seal and finish your tiles

Acrylic Pouring Classes
Introduction to the exciting and mysterious world of fluid art! This class is fun for everyone! It will turn you into an instant artist even with no prior experience! Each piece is completely unique and filled with detail. This class starts with me explaining the different products we will be using. Next, I show you my pouring recipe and the ratios I use as we all mix the colors we will be using. Then I demonstrate 3 different techniques. Then you get to experiment with this art style! you will get to paint 2 8×10 canvases or one 16×20. All supplies will be included. Kids are welcome.
In this class, you will learn 3 different techniques with your choice of:
- Dirty pour
- Flip cup
- Striping
- tree ring pour
- Individual color pour
- ballon technique
- sink strainer method
- string technique
- Dutch pour
- swipe
- negative space
- Double dirty pour
Every class will learn how to properly mix paint, how to create cells, fluid art terminology, and the essential supplies you will need.
